Guiness in Dublin

We were recently invited to join the celebrations in Dublin for the 250th anniversary of guiness, a concert and open bar in the heart of the guiness brewery. It was a great night where we got to walk the red carpet, meet celebrities, and of course drink lots of guiness. Tom Jones, Kasabian and Dizzee Rascal performed to mention a few, Dizzee being a highlight of the night getting the crowd jumping up and down in a way that is unadvisable for anyone who has had that much guiness. The guiness as you would expect was exemplary as it can only be in Ireland, guiness even created a special 250th anniversary brew for the event stronger and with more kick than the original but still with the smoothness that is a trademark of the black drink intact. Overall a brilliant weekend which has given us the best of first impressions of Dublin and Ireland, a place we will definitely be visiting again.
